Double Your Money, Double Your Fun

Photo shoots with kids can be, um... challenging.

I did one today in various stops and starts.

Invariably, one kid looks good, while the other...

...looks slightly scary.

Or somebody looks away right before the click.

Or, worse, the cats get involved...

And the whole session dissolves into this:

But sometimes, with adequate "spray 'n' pray", something kinda good happens...

But then I get all the photos loaded on my composhter and discover that I had the white balance set wrong on the camera and the kids look like they're freezing to death. Hello, post processing. What would we do without modern technology? (Film, paper, developing? You've heard of it?)

  1. Oh my. Evan is growing and changing so much. Jonah is so happy to have a brother, it's awesome.

Keep 'em coming! Maybe you should try another session ala Geddes. Straw hats on both of them and a bale of straw or something.

  2. Great pictures! It's nice to get the perfect picture, but it's so much fun to look back at the goofy ones, isn't it?
